The Fournier House

||
| This charming 1870′s home is located in the California gold rush town of Sutter Creek. It is situated on the banks of the meandering creek, and is only one short block walking-distance to the town’s Main Street.
For more than twenty years, my husband, Bob, and I have offered this home to vacationing travelers to rent by either the weekend or the week. The two-story house has three bedrooms. Downstairs, there is a twin-bedded room; upstairs, there is a queen-size bedded room and a double-bedded room. There are two full-sized bathrooms – one on each floor. The house will adequately accommodate six guests. The front of the house has a traditional old-front porch and at the rear of the house there is a private deck overlooking the creek. Sleeping rooms are tastefully appointed with antique furnishings, needlework, quilts and paper ephemera. The living/dining room exhibits sophisticated flair, and the striking black-and-white kitchen is ideal for anyone who wants to put on their own party, lunch or dinner while visiting Sutter Creek. |
