sutter creek parade of lights

Saturday, December 13th, 2025
Parade starts at 6:00 pm
Roads close at 5:00 pm

Go direct to new Parade of Lights website. This year, we have added an online entry and payment method for the convenience of those who would like to use that instead of mailing everything into our PO Box. But the mailing method will still be available for anyone who isn’t ready to jump into the online pieces yet.

Free Shuttle Service from the Italian Picnic Grounds — 3:00 to 5:30, and after Parade.

Come join us for the Sutter Creek Parade of Lights in our sweet little town to bring in the Christmas spirit! And whether you are in the Parade of Lights or are a spectator, we know that you will have fun at this event!

Remember… the Parade of Lights is always a RAIN or SHINE event, but dangerous winds or lightning may happen where we would need to cancel the Parade even at the last minute. We try to never do that, and in the past 18 years, I am proud to say that we have only had to cancel once, other than because of COVID. The final announcement will be posted on our Facebook page if this ever becomes necessary.

New This Year
We are very excited to be bringing one of the new pieces to our Sutter Creek Parade of Lights event! This year, we are starting our “Vendor Alley” with Arts and Crafts vendors all around the Plaza on Main Street and inside the Auditorium. The Arts and Craft Show starts at 1:00 pm and will continue after the Parade is over until 8:00 pm for you to shop and enjoy.

Along with the Arts and Crafts booths, there will be Food Vendors in the Vendor Alley area by the Plaza, and a few Food Vendors at the North end of Main Street where the Parade starts. Stroll through before the Parade of Lights starts and then after the Parade is over to see all of the fun pieces waiting for you!

Interested in becoming a Vendor? Go to our vendors page to learn more and apply!
